We are a
philosophical academy
We are, primarily, an online community that is a philosophical academy in the style of ancient Greece’s philosophical academies. This means you’re welcome to come here to learn, debate, converse and connect, while understanding that we use a philosophical method to base our thinking on. Eventually, we seek to form physical communities where we bring a lifestyle into being that is about living an enjoyable and rewarding life in connection with nature and each other. We aim to have these physical communities be successful, wealthy, and fun, so that more and more people will feel drawn towards our ways. This will naturally increase our healing influence upon our world.
We believe in
freedom of thought
We are not a cult, not a religion, and not a sect. We only follow one dogma, namely that there shall be no dogmata. We feel that the road to betterment lies in always being allowed, and even encouraged, to question methods and ways. People who believe that there is one truth that humanity should follow will have a hard time connecting with us. Come to us with an open mind and we shall meet you likewise. We invite you to be among us and then trust you to find your own motivation to stay or go.
We are looking for
change makers
We are you, essentially. We are just people who are trying to find our way in this life, wishing to find healthy directions for humanity. We are dreamers who believe that humans can form a paradise together, provided we are properly supported and guided by each other towards full personal and societal maturity.
We are here because
the world needs healing
We have looked upon the world and found it wanting. Humanity’s current overall mindset makes us destroy the earth for our needs without us ever reaching satisfaction. Repression and suffering are inherent to the societal system and neither the wealthy nor the poor feel that they are able to structurally change this. Our societal system is so massive that to change even one aspect of it seems to require enormous effort. Academia Intrinseci seeks to teach the levers and the pulleys required for change.
